Custom Pipelines and Custom Properties

1. Introduction

If you are new to CRM, you might be curious about Custom Pipelines and Custom Properties and their importance. In short, each business has unique sales stages, and CRM software allows customization of pipelines to suit these needs. Custom properties are fields linked with objects such as Leads, Deals, and Customers. While some basic fields are pre-defined, custom properties allow you to create additional fields to track or associate with your lead/deal/customer object.

In summary, custom pipelines and properties are crucial for tailoring your CRM to meet your business requirements. This blog aims to guide you in creating Custom pipelines and properties in Kenyt CRM.

However, it’s important to note that you need admin access to create Custom pipelines and properties for your organization.

2. CREATE CUSTOM PIPELINES FOR OBJECTS

2.1 Create A New Custom Pipeline

Step 1: To create custom pipeline, you must navigate to CRM settings from the left navigation var.
CRM -> Settings -> CRM Settings.

Step 2: Click on the Add New Pipeline button highlighted below.

Step 3: Choose the object type for which you want to create the custom pipeline from the drop-down.

You will see Lead, Deal, Order and Customer as options.

Once you select the object type, a new form will open where you can define the name and stages of your pipeline.

The existing stages in the CRM are default stages associated with the object. They can be kept or deleted based on the business requirements. To add a new stage, click on the “Add Stage” button which will create a new row at the bottom of the table.

Enter the Name of the stage, the Probability percentage (chance for the lead to convert when in this stage), the Rotten Period (number of days after which the lead will be marked as red), and the column colour (this will appear as the stage colour in both the table view and board view).

2.2 Reorder stages in custom pipeline

To reorder the stages in the CRM, simply click and hold on the stage row that you want to move and drag it up or down to the desired position.

You will now see this new pipeline in the Pipeline view.
